Some love stories begin with a chance encounter, others with a swipe — but for Brooke and Mitch, it all started with a simple message. Four years ago, Brooke slid into Mitch’s DMs, and from that moment on, their journey together began. Fast forward to September 2024, when Mitch popped the question, and the countdown to their big day officially began.
We first met Brooke and Mitch at her brother Brendan’s wedding to Laura back in 2022, where we had the honour of capturing their beautiful celebration. It was clear even then that Brooke and Mitch shared something special — a connection that radiated joy and warmth. So when they asked us to document their own wedding day, we were beyond thrilled.
Their wedding took place at the stunning Lookout Point Golf and Country Club in Fonthill, just as the fall colours began to paint the escarpment in rich hues of amber and gold. The views were breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for their portraits and heartfelt moments.
One of the most touching parts of the day happened that morning, when Brooke gave Mitch a handwritten card along with a collection of photographs from weddings they had attended together over the years. It was a beautiful reminder of their journey, from guests to bride and groom, and a testament to the love that had grown between them.
Of course, their adorable pup Oakley was part of the celebration too, adding a dose of cuteness and charm to the festivities. From their emotional first look to cake cutting (where they held a cardboard cutout of Oakley’s cute face) and the personalized napkins and signature drink featuring the Arnold “Pawmer”, they included their beloved pup in the so many details and moments. Their day truly was a reflection of who Brooke and Mitch are: fun-loving, deeply connected, and surrounded by people who adore them.
