Mr & Mrs Porter! What an incredible wedding story indeed!
Some weddings are extra special — not just because of the love shared, but because of the people involved. A few weeks ago, we had the incredible honour of witnessing our daughter, Rylie, marry her best friend, Jesse.
As wedding filmmakers, we’ve captured hundreds of beautiful stories. But this one? It was personal. Rylie walked down the aisle with both her dad Steven and stepdad Brian. What a proud moment it was to see the joy in her eyes, and hear the vows she and Jesse exchanged — it was a moment we’ll never forget. And crafting their wedding film was a labour of love, blending our professional eye with the hearts of proud parents. A special thank you to our dear friend Ollie Denny, from the UK, and to Kim Vincent, who captured all the moments and memories, so we could be in them!
Rylie’s style is timeless with a touch of bold elegance. Her gift from Jesse was a pair of Christian Louboutin black heels — a nod to her love of fashion and flair. Every detail of the day, from the florals to the music, reflected who they are as a couple: vibrant, thoughtful, and full of joy. Rylie had a personal, creative touch on everything – from the DIY putting greens that guests enjoyed during cocktails to the stunning decor and napkins featuring their 3 beloved cats – Sofi, Bart and Sam!
Their choreographed first dance was nothing short of breathtaking. As they moved together in perfect harmony, you could feel the hours of practice and intention behind every step. It wasn’t just a performance — it was a reflection of their relationship: dedicated, thoughtful, and deeply connected. The time and care they invested into that dance mirrored the kind of marriage they’re building — one rooted in commitment, trust, and showing up for each other, day after day. We knew this moment had to be woven throughout their film, not just as a highlight, but as a symbol of the love story they’re writing together.
