Kristen + Nick

Honsberger Estate Winery Wedding, Jordan Station

Kristen and Nick had planned a more traditional wedding with a bridal party, well over a hundred guests, including friends and family who were planning to travel to the Niagara region to celebrate their wedding day, but with the uncertainties of the pandemic and not really knowing when things might return to “normal” they chose to move their June 2021 wedding up to November 14, 2020. With just five guests in attendance their outdoor ceremony at Honsberger was intimate and beautiful. They shared their first dance and parent dances right after they said their vows and signed their marriage certificate and then to our surprise they broke out into a fast dance to really celebrate! The day was an incredible mix of emotions, but the biggest feeling being that of pure joy. Nothing was going to stop these two from getting married and starting their life together. Truthfully at the end of the day it felt like nothing was missed… sure the wedding cake was teeny, there was only one guest to catch the bouquet and the festivities wrapped up a little early… but the love from those who could not be there in person was certainly felt by this couple and their wedding day was filled with so.much.magic. This pandemic can not stop love. In fact micro weddings are so big in so many ways!
