Deerhurst Resort
If I had to choose just one word to describe Lindsay and Josh it would be ‘sweet’. As individuals, and as a couple, they are kind, warm and so very thoughtful. Last summer when we met for the first time over skype we could immediately tell that their wedding story was going to match their personalities to a tee, and it certainly did! From the storybook style of their invitations to the rehearsal dinner to the morning preparations and every moment and detail of their wedding day, everything was perfect. When we heard Holley Maher’s newly released song “Perfect Day” a few months ago we knew that it would make the most amazing soundtrack to their highlight film. This was our first time at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville and it made for the most beautiful backdrop. Their ceremony was conducted by Lindsay’s godfather at Saint Mary of the Assumption church in downtown Huntsville. Every pew in the church was adored by the most beautiful floral arrangement and many of the locals believed that that Kate Hudson was tying the knot that day. My favourite moment of the day had to be when Lindsay and Josh first walked into the reception room and were just in awe of the decor and how everything had come together. Event Decorator did an incredible job, the three tiered room was breathtakingly elegant! We were so honoured to be a part of their wedding day and love the way their highlight film re-tells their story!
